Privacy policy
Effective 10 October 2026
Today's Pick collects no data. There is no account, no advertising, no analytics and no tracking. Everything you put in the app stays on your iPhone and in your own iCloud, where the developer cannot see it.
Today's Pick (今日做咩好) is an iPhone app made by Homan, an independent developer. This policy covers the app and this website, todayspick.net.
What the app stores, and where
The app saves what you create in it: your lists and items, notes, photos you attach, your draw history and journal, and your settings. This is stored on your device.
If you are signed in to iCloud, the app also keeps a copy in your private iCloud database, using Apple's CloudKit, so your data follows you across your devices. That copy is held by Apple under your Apple Account and Apple's privacy policy. The developer has no access to it and runs no servers of their own.
Sharing a list
Sharing is optional and only happens when you start it. When you share a list, the app creates an iCloud invite link. Anyone who opens that link can join the list and edit it, so send it only to people you trust.
- People who join can see the list, its items, and the notes and photos on those items.
- If you choose "List + journal", journal entries made from that list, including their photos and notes, are visible to everyone in the list.
- Participants can see each other's names as provided by iCloud.
Shared lists are stored in iCloud by Apple. You can remove people or stop sharing at any time from the list's share screen. Journal entries that were shared before you turned journal sharing off stay shared.
Permissions
- Photos. The app only receives the photos you choose to attach to an item or journal entry.
- iCloud. Used for sync and sharing as described above. iCloud sends the app silent background notifications when your data changes on another device. These are never used for marketing.
- Motion. Shaking your iPhone to draw is detected on the device. No motion data is saved or sent anywhere.
What we don't do
- No analytics or advertising software is built into the app.
- No data is sold or shared with third parties.
- You are not tracked across apps or websites.
Information from Apple
If you have agreed on your device to share analytics with app developers, Apple may give the developer anonymous, aggregated statistics such as download counts and crash reports. These do not identify you and contain nothing you entered in the app. You can change this in Settings under Privacy & Security, then Analytics & Improvements. If you use a TestFlight beta, feedback and screenshots you choose to send go to the developer through Apple.
This website
This site sets no advertising or analytics cookies and has no tracking scripts. It is hosted by Cloudflare, which, like any web host, processes technical details such as your IP address and browser type to deliver pages and protect against abuse.
If you email us
If you write to support@todayspick.net, your email address and message are used only to reply and to fix the problem you describe.
Children
The app is suitable for all ages and collects no personal information from anyone, including children.
Deleting your data
Delete any list, item or journal entry inside the app, or delete the app to remove everything stored on that device. To remove the iCloud copy too, open Settings, tap your name, then iCloud, open your iCloud storage, find Today's Pick and delete its data.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
